of a loved one's soul set free?
Do you break down and cry, or rage and yell?
How do you grieve?
How do you deal with these emotions
that leave you breathless and feeling weak?
When you can no longer deny that they exist,
where do you find the comfort that you seek?
Look for it among your friends,
and all those dear to you.
You might think that they won't understand,
but you'll find they're hurting too.
It's ok to feel the world is bleak,
like you just want to curl up and hide,
but know that others share your pain,
and you don't have to keep it all inside.
It was written once that joy increases,
when shared from friend to friend,
and inversely the burden of grief,
gets lighter with each dividend.
So next time you need to stop and cry
because this world's not fair,
because it takes the ones that we love most
remember there is always someone there.

"If you fall I'll catch,
If you love I'll love
And so it goes my dear,
Don't be scared,
You'll be safe,
This I swear,
If you only love me..."
